Numbers in German

The numbers in German also have its own special characteristics. There are a few things that can be a bit confusing, but we'll come to that later.

First of all, like the alphabet that I explained it before, the numbers in German has their own special names. And yes, there are some of the numbers does exist in English form, which I can remember it easily.

The number from 0 till 12 gives you basic ideas about the pronunciations and also the spelling in German. But starting from number 13 and the number after that, this is where it gets confused....

Starting number 21 is a bit different where you have to write number "1" first, followed by "2. To write the number in words in German, it will sound like this.. "ein"(one) "-und-zwanzig"(20). So it becomes "einundzwanzig".

The concept are same to other numbers like 30,40 and etc.
